Opis
Debiutancki album The Animals to jedna z płyt, które pomogły zdefiniować brytyjską falę rocka i rhythm & bluesa połowy lat 60. Zespół z Newcastle pod wodzą charyzmatycznego Erica Burdona przeniósł amerykańskiego bluesa i R&B na grunt brytyjski, nadając mu bardziej surowe, elektryczne i pełne energii oblicze. Album ukazał się w 1964 roku, niedługo po ogromnym sukcesie „The House of the Rising Sun”, utworu, który uczynił grupę światową gwiazdą i jednym z najważniejszych przedstawicieli British Invasion.
