BRUCE, JACK - SONGS FOR A TAILOR (EXPANDED DELUXE EDITION)

"Songs For A Tailor" był pierwszym solowym projektem Jacka Bruce'a, wydanym po rozpadzie zespołu Cream w listopadzie 1968 roku. Jego pierwszy solowy album znacząco różnił się od muzyki nagranej z Cream – zawierał kompozycje czerpiące inspiracje z jazzu, folku, muzyki klasycznej oraz rocka.

Podczas sesji nagraniowych w londyńskim Morgan Studios Jack Bruce i producent Felix Pappalardi współpracowali z czołowymi brytyjskimi muzykami, takimi jak Chris Spedding, Jon Hiseman, Dick Heckstall-Smith, John Marshall, Art Themen i Henry Lowther. W jednej z sesji uczestniczył także George Harrison. "Songs For A Tailor" odniosło sukces na listach przebojów zarówno w Wielkiej Brytanii, jak i w USA i jest obecnie uznawane za arcydzieło oraz jedno z najważniejszych dzieł Jacka Bruce’a.

To specjalne wydanie pudełkowe zawiera oryginalny miks albumu z 1969 roku (zremasterowany z oryginalnych taśm-matek), a także nowe, doskonałe miksy stereo oraz dźwięk przestrzenny 5.1 autorstwa Stephena W. Taylera (stworzony z oryginalnych ośmiościeżkowych taśm-matek). Do zestawu dołączono również nigdy wcześniej niepublikowane nagrania z sesji oraz dema. Wydanie zawiera także po raz pierwszy na płycie Blu-ray dokument "Rope Ladder to the Moon" z 1970 roku. Ten film, pierwotnie wyemitowany przez BBC, prezentuje występy na żywo oraz ukazuje początki, życie i inspiracje Jacka Bruce’a.
