25-lecie działalności muzycznej świętuje w tym roku jeden z najpopularniejszych, jak również obecnie najbardziej kontrowersyjnych wokalistów świata - George Michael. Zaczynał od roli wokalisty w zespole Wham! (niezapomniane hity „Last Christmas”, „Club Tropicana” czy „Wake Me Up Before You Go Go”), by później skoncentrować się na solowej karierze, dzięki której przez lata dostarczył muzyce pop takich pereł jak „Careless Whisper”, „Faith”, „Freedom”, „Fastlove” czy też ostatni wielki przebój z 2004 roku – „Amazing”.
Rok 2006 stoi pod znakiem okolicznościowej trasy koncertowej „25 Live Tour” i płyty „25” zawierającej przeboje nagrane w przeciągu całej kariery artysty. Utwory zgrupowane są na dwóch dyskach – „For Living” oraz „For Loving”.
