Opis
Album "The Christmas Album" to świąteczna kompilacja utworów Chrisa Rea, wydana pierwotnie w 2019 roku. Płyta ta celebruje zimowy i bożonarodzeniowy czas, łącząc melancholijne utwory inspirowane bluesem i rockiem z motywami świątecznymi.
Centralnym punktem albumu jest oczywiście jego ponadczasowy hit "Driving Home for Christmas" (w wersji z 2019 r. i pierwotnej z 1986 r.), a towarzyszą mu inne nastrojowe piosenki, takie jak "Joys of Christmas" czy "Winter Song".
