Edycja z okazji 40-lecia albumu Ultravox Lament, pierwotnie wydana w kwietniu 1984 roku, była następstwem 3 udanych albumów z Midge'em Ure'em na wokalu, a także dwóch pełnych światowych tras koncertowych. Wyprodukowany przez sam zespół w drugiej połowie 1983 roku.
Album zawiera brytyjski top 10 i światowy hit Dancing With Tears In My Eyes, a także single One Small Day i tytułowy utwór Lament.
Ten nowy 34-utworowy zestaw winylowy zawiera nowo zremasterowaną wersję albumu, zupełnie nowy rozszerzony remiks albumu w stylu lat 80-tych, w tym miksy Moby'ego, Steve'a Wilsona i Blank & Jonesa oraz Midge'a Ure'a, a także nowo zmiksowany pełny koncert z Hammersmith Odeon 1984.
Edycja 2024 została zmasterowana i przycięta przez Phila Kinrade'a i Barry'ego Grinta w AIR Mastering w Londynie.
