VARIOUS - DISCO CLASSICS

"Classics" to seria wydawnicza prezentująca starannie dobrany zestaw kompilacji różnych gatunków. "Disco Classics" to trzypłytowa składanka, na której znajdziemy wybór największych przebojów muzyki disco, hity wspaniałych wykonawców jak Diana Ross, Hot Chocolate, Chic a także wiele innych znanych artystów muzyki tanecznej. Styl znany pod nazwą disco, rozwinął się początkowo w Stanach Zjednoczonych pośród społeczności afroamerykańskich i hiszpańskich. Od połowy lat siedemdziesiątych muzyka disco stawała się coraz bardziej popularna. Disco stało się obecne w mediach a także w filmie. Powstały wielkie dyskoteki, wydawane były czasopisma dyskotekowe, istniały liczne stacje radiowe nadające ten gatunek całą dobę. Muzyka disco opanowała niemal cały świat.
